This session will be geared towards middle school ELA teachers who are new to Writer's Workshop. The true Power and Magic of the Workshop Model comes from the intense, intimate, responsive teaching that happens during individual and small group conferences. Participants will learn the basics and hone their skills in the research – decide - compliment – teach structure of effective conferring.
